Security Checking/pk3/how long it takes

my pkg 3 was received by NVC on August 7, 2003, but I hasn't heard back anything yet. During a call, I was told it is in the "administrative process", a new name for security check and they won't tell me when it was started and estimated time needed.

In the pk3, I already included all the police certificates needed.

Would anyone please offer your experience how long it takes?

I have the same issue. Submitted P3 for 2+ months, and it is still in 'special administrative process'. Do you have any ideas how long this will take?

In this post-9/11 world, it can take several months. I have read of cases where it took >6 months.
