Is the employement letter must be notarized in case of CP

I got all documents ready for Consular processing , except my employment letter is not notarized. I am leaving to marrow to india , and no way I can reach my boss to get this notarised. Is this ok. Or should I must have the certificate notarized.

The employment offer letter absolutely has to be notarized. You won't get the immigrant visa without it being notarized.

Employment letter must be notarized- yes.
Pay stubs are essential for CP?

the employment letter must be notarized.
I had taken pay stubs with me, but they didn't ask to see them. The notarized employment letter was sufficient.

I didnt have my employment letter notorised

I didnt have my employment letter notorised but i did have my pay stubs. This was at chennai.

I am somewhat surprised.
There is a reason for the requirement to have the letter notarized: how else would they know that the letter @#%$'t ****? After all, anybody can write something on company letterhead. The notarized signature is the proof that the letter is genuine.
