Question About Police Clearance Certificate

Hi Friends,

I am residing in US from April 2003 and my husband
is residing here for more than 5 years and we are going to apply CP this month.

Already I have Police Clearance Certificate from India issued by the local passport office

I've also applied for PCC here in Houston, TX.

With all the above fact, do i need any Police Clearance Certificate from the local district police authorities in India?

You don't need PCC from the US Police. All you need is one from India passport office or from consulate.
The PCC is valid only for a year.
Just to be on the safer side, you may ask for one from the Indian consulate. It will cost you just $50 and will take at least 45 days.
