I got a green card and moved to the States from 20011-2012. I came back to the UK for family reasons. In Feb, my husband filed an I-130 on my behalf to re-enter the USA (Upon the advice of USCIS, who we emailed before sumbmitting anything) and we have just got the I-130 approval.
The next steps seem to be a repetition of most of what I did a few years ago and the document requested are things I've submitted twice already. I already have an alien reg number and green card - do I really have to go through all the other form-filling, payments, medical and document submission again???
It's so disheartening, as we waited a year for my green card in 2011 and we've been waiting over 7 months just for the I-130 approval after we were told it would be a 90-day process.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
