CP or AOS: Need Help to decide

Hi,

I'm at the point where I have to decide whether to go
in for AOS or CP. I've been told that due to background
processing, AOS is taking a lot of time these days.

Is this also true for CP ? What is the approximate time
that it takes after I-140 approval to get the CP
interview ? My I-140 was approved quite a few yrs ago
so there's a strong likelyhood that my application is
already with the Consulate in india. Considering this
fact what is the best approach to take.

AOS always takes more time. The background check is done in either case.

how come your I-140 was approved quite a few years years ago and you are still trying to decide between AOS and CP. have you applied for AOS
