F2A Visa Consulate interview process questions

Hello, my father filled Affidavit of Support, but we are scared that the consulate will think that his income is not enough, we decided to get another sponsor, but I have a question, do we send the Affidavit to NVC or should my father send it to me so that i can directly take it to my interview? my interview is in December, will sending it to NVC cause a delay?
