    Administrative processing before visa interview

    Hi everyone,

    My visa interview date is in next month. I checked my visa application status (CR1) on CEAC website and it shows "Administrative Processing". Is this normal? I thought Administrative Processing usually takes place after the visa interview.

    Any of your advice would be highly appreciated!
