Sir/Ma'am,
Hello, my name is Arun and I was hoping someone could assist me
with an issue I have run into after submitting an application for residency
for my foreign wife.
I sent an email to [email protected], but was told to post my question to this site instead.
The history behind this is I married my wife, who is from the Netherlands,
while I was stationed and living in the United Kingdom. I submitted the
application for residency through the US Embassy in the UK. Since I
submitted the application, I was forced to move back to the USA (I am in the
Military, and was ordered to move bases). My former landlady was supposed to
forward/email me any mail received, but I have not heard anything from them
since I left, and never received a case # for our request even though we
received mail stating the application was accepted.
With no case number I have been unable to submit a change of address form
through the immigration website. I have attempted to email back the US
Embassy in London, but have not received any response is several weeks. I
was told that the application would be transferred to the US embassy in the
Netherlands as that is where my wife is from, but she hasn't heard anything
from them either.
Can someone please help me try to track down where the application is, what
the case # is, and help me update my contact information so they can get in
touch with me if needed?
- Arun
