My Finacee (Canadian) and I (U.S. Citizen) are currently in Canada. We came here after spending 6 months in the U.S and have been here for 3 months. I think I'm going to get married here, file the I-130 form for her so she go through consular processing in Canada then immigrate to the U.S. 1.) Would that be advisable to do so? We would like to stay together during the process. I haven't worked since June this year and am having a bit of trouble finding another job but my parents are willing to joint sponsor. Would that work or do I need to have some income coming in before I can try for a joint sponsorship, my dad meets the minimum requirement and I did too for the past three years. Really appreciate your help!
