How do I switch back to CP?

I just aware that the CP route to get green card. I guess my I-140 (EB1 OR) was approved for CP (the I-140 approval notice saying it was sent to NVC). However, my lawyer filed I-485 AOS for me without telling me anything about CP about 1 month ago. I just checked NVC phone nuumber. It said my case was received and waiting for INS for AOS (did not give a case number).

Now since CP takes much less time than AOS, can any expert here tell me if I can still switch back to CP? What are the options do I have: withdraw the I-485? file I-824? or AC-140(I was from China)?

Switching to AOS from CP how easy is it?

Hi Bin000,
Iam just curious. If you file for CP in 140 then if
you want to process AOS don't you have to fill up
any form(similar to 824). Straigt away you can file
for AOS. Pl. clarify.
