  • Hello, some doubts can anyone help?

Hello, iv'e been married to my wife for a year now she lives in cuba but i havn't filled the I-130 yet since i wanted to get my citizenship first through naturalization which i finally got it on the 13th of this month! So i am ready to fill the I-130 for her now! BUT i have some questions, ok so i have our marriage certificate and everything which i already translated to english since we got married in CUBA ofcourse so HERE are my questions

    1. On the G-325A which i have to attach and send with the I-130 she is not able to sign her g-325a since shes in cuba, do i just send her g325a unsigned?
    2. Since she is not in the country i do not have to send the I-485 as of yet right? until the I-130 gets approved?
    3. For the bona fide marriage part, i will be sending all money transactions receipts i have sent to her, printed email communications & calls, pictures of our weddings, my passport stamps from when i went to visit her any more ideas of what i should include?
    4. Do i have to send our birth certificates i do not see this stated no where in the form instructions? and do i need to translate to english since we were both born in cuba?

Get your wife to sign a completed G-325A. There are some options which allow submittal of a spouse G-325A without her signature, but USCIS employees are not always aware of these options.

Both birth certificates and marriage certificate should have professional English translations.

If she is processed for a visa in Cuba, an I-485 will not be needed to get her to the U.S. and to get a Green Card.

Hey Ray B , thanks for this information but why isn't the I-485 needed for her? not even after the I-130 gets approved? and what will be the steps after it gets approved? i am also sending 2 2x2 passport pictures of my wife with the I-130.

I485 is for adjustment of status of individuals already in the US. In your case, your wife would have to do consular processing if she wants to do it from Cuba, and hence Ray B's reply.
Just an opinion; Not legal advice.
