i am 24 years old , born in india but my parents came here when i was only 9 months old. i am now a us citizen and am trying to get married in sept in jamaica. my travel agent is asking for my original birth certificate or at least one with a raised seal. my father has informed me that he lost this important form. and i cannot get married without it. can anyone help me on where or who i can contact for this?

You can
have someone in India approach the municipal office of the district where you were born to get a
copy of your birth certificate from their records.
