Good afternoon,
I am beginning our CR-1 spousal visa. My husband's full name is 5 names long, this is not unusual for egyptians. The 4th name is his actual family name ,5th is family member name but some sources are saying use the very last name as the surname. Another source told me put the entire name as first name, NA as middle and last and include copy of his passport to show this (passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate etc all show the 5 names ) Someone in Egypt with some legal knowledge told him use the 5th name as your surname, but that actually is not the family name. I considered the first name listed as first name, and put all the rest for last name? I am not sure how to do this. Many say do it how the passport says, the passport does not label any part of it as surname or first etc. The passport says FULL NAME and has all 5 listed. His egyptian ID has his first name on the top and the remaining 4 under it. Any ideas on this or experience? Thanks!
