Hi:
I got a mail from the mumbai consulate saying that
they have sent back my ACP petition w/ the officer's remarks:
"applicant does not reside in our consular district."
My parents are currently residents of Mumbai & thats
the reason I sent the petition to Mumbai, but did not
provide any proof of their residency. This was because
my attorney said that just mentioning the fact in the petition would suffice.
Would it be wise to send the petition again w/ a proof
of residency such as ration card or paycheck of my father etc
Thnx
