No Update From NVC Since We Sent The Required Documents

Hello Everyone,

We sent all the required documents to NVC 3 weeks ago but we are yet to get any update.

What could possibly be wrong? Do we have to wait for them to update the Scan Date?

Secondly, I am the Immigrant..my wife is the one applying and she's also the Agent. Due to her busy schedule, she wont be able to call NVC. The question is can I call NVC directly for an update?

Yes you can call, just have Applicant/Petitioner's Birth dates and case # handy when you call. Don't worry about NVC response or update, sometimes things move slowly at NVC due to high volume. You will get update from NVC eventually but if its takes longer than normal time, best to call and get an update. Good luck.
