In my I 140 aplication, we had clearly mentioned Adjustment of Status (item 10b , PART B of Statement of Qualification of Alien)
But now when I received the I-140 approval from VSC, it mentions that my petition has been sent to Department of State National Visa Center(NVC) , NH.
Will this be a problem, as I have asked my lawyer to go in for AC-I140. I think had read somewhere about such cases which were rejected (not Sure).
Can someone throw some light on this.
Is it that VSC is making life easier for all by sending all cases to NVC ? or am I a special candidate (:-)
But then I would prefer AC-I140, as I can send packet III along with AC-I140 and save some time.(Mumbai consulate)
