Hi,
I am on GC and had applied for my spouse GC. My PD date is getting current on May and upon calling the NVC, I was informed that it became current on April 13 and will take up to six weeks to receive info for further steps in the process. Does NVC send regular mail or email on the file to inform about the next steps in the process?
I asked because I used attorney for the process and recently emailed NVC to remove the attorney from further communications as I will be handling the remainder of my process myself. I sent them this info via email listed in NVC site but never got any response, yet.
So, just a little anxious if they will send the info as my case got current to the lawyer's mailing address or the email in the file, which is my personal email or both?
And one more thing, even though they informed it takes up to 6 weeks to receive the further instructions info, normally how long does it take to receive it?
