Few Queries About USA Immigrant Visa Application
Hi all...Good Day.
I have a few queries about USA Immigrant Visa Application. I'd be grateful if someone can help to answer them.
My parents are greencard holders of USA. But they're not staying there for now (not in last 3 years) due to some family urgency. I'm form Bangladesh.
While they were at USA, they applied for my immigrant visa petition for US Citizenship. I've received emails from NVC (i.e. NVC Welcome Letter ACL).
I'm a male, unmarried. Working at Bangladesh with a BSC degree after completing my O+A Levels. My job exp. is ~7 years.
Queries are:
1. Since my parents aren't staying in USA, can I apply for immigration? Or it will be invalid? Parents' Green card is valid till 2020.
2. They asked for tax and other papers of my dad. My dad retired from job in 2009. But he has general tax papers that he submits yearly. So will that suffice while submission or is it totally invalid or we have to submit USA only tax papers?
3. If I do get the VISA, can I visit USA and then get married and apply for my spouse? How long that may take (year/month) after: a. arriving USA and b. applying for spouse?
Pleas help me to get these answers. I will be really really helpful if someone could assist me here as I'm very confused.
