  • withdraw case

hello, I want to withdraw nvc case for my husband. what can I do? also, will he receive correspondence from nvc since he has the case number and fee number??

You don't have to do anything. If he doesn't want an immigrant visa, he can simply ignore the NVC notification, and choose to not file DS-260 to apply for an immigrant visa

we are having problems in our relationship. I want to withdraw the case but don't want the case to be open because he'll probably keep in touch with nvc about it. you know get the visa without me knowing!

If your relationship with him is over, why do you care whether or not obtains an immigrant visa?

If your marriage has been dissolved, he would have to commit fraud in order to obtain an immigrant visa, which will cause him a great deal of grief in the future. But since he is no longer your spouse, that isn't your problem

You can call them to withdraw the Affidavit of Support if you have submitted one, because that is one thing that *would* affect you if he were to immigrate.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.

I think the OP hasn't divorced him yet, so he is still her spouse.
