Hello, I'm an American living in Europe for 8 years. My European husband would like to work and possibly immigrate to the US. He's an aerospace engineer and can apply for an H1B. He's also eligible for L-I visa because his parent company is American.
Because I don't live in the US, I don't think he's eligible for the K-3. Due to our family situation, is he only eligible to apply for K-3? Or can he independently apply for a work permit, and we can change his status once we get settled there? I think the process would be faster through a company sponsor, but I'm not sure.
