Am i eligible for interview even if PD is not current ?

NVC mailed me saying that all my documents have been reviewed and the case processing is complete and they will soon assign me an appointment for interview.
In F2A category my PD is 15 march 2016, which is not 'current' yet. So am i eligible for interview or they will keep me waiting till the PD becomes current ?

No. If the PD is not current how will you eligible for interview?
