Adjustment of status from B2 to E2 spouse

Hello,

I entered in the USA in march as a B2 visa and married my fiancé in august. He has an E2 visa so I will get an E2 dependent visa. We applied for a change of status in august for me to be able to stay and I was wondering how long it took for other pleople to get the status change because from my lawyer I get different responses and I really want to hear from a person that has been throw this.
