Entering as an Immigrant
Hi everyone,
Thought i'd seek your help in this.
I will be entering USA (hopefully) on an immigrant visa which is sponsored by my wife (USA citizen). This will be first time entry and I am aware that they will be sending me the Greencard by post on my registered mail address.
However, I will be entering USA on my own while my wife and kids will be at home. (currently in a different country - out of US)
I plan to go, get my greencard, come back, close up on my things and then move to USA.
My question: is it a problem if I enter USA on my own whilst the petitioner (my wife) is out of USA? Or does she need to be in USA?
