    My Priority Date : EB2-05/99
    I-140 has been approved.
    Chennai was the consulate chosen by me during I-140 application.

    1. What is the maximum time before the interview can be arranged by the Chennai Consulate?
    2. Does Chennai Consulate arrange interview based on Priority date?
    3. Once a visa number has been issued by NVC (based on priority date), is there any significance for priority date after that?
    4. Do you have any idea about Chennai Consulate's load?
    5. If the Immigrant Visa is not granted within my Visa Period (2 more years), can I wait in India till the Immigrant visa is approved - or will the Consulate will straight away
    reject my Visa Petition since I have crossed my Visa Period?
    6. Should the affidavit of DOB be obtained at same place of birth?
    7. Name and date of birth as given in your passport and your birth certificate must be identical - it is different for my wife?
    8. What is the total time currently taking for I-485 for EB2 in CSC?
    9. What is the total time currently taking for CP in Chennai Consulate?
    10. Can I cancel CP if it is taking too long and file EAD?
    11. What are the Oiriginal Documents needed for CP?

    3. Visa number is issued by state department. Once it is done, PD does not matter.
    4. Nobody who works there answers on this forum.
    5. Your immigrant visa approval has nothing to do with your H1 status. After 6 years are over, you can wait in India as much as needed.
