Affidavit of support for spouse

If my spouse is also on H-1b and working, do I need
to file Affidavit of support I-134 or will a letter from her employer be enough.

how many days prior to the date should you be in Mumbai for CP and how many days allowance should you have after that as backup.

I got the answer from another posting here. I will have to file I-134 for her as I am including her on my GC.

One more question, after the GC , my wife can work for any other company . Correct me if I am wrong.

your wife can work for any other company even now, since the process has nothing to do with her employment/unemployment, and everything to do with your emp/unemp.

Agreed she can work for any company irrespective of this porcess. But now she is working for another company that has sponsored her H-1b visa.

But once I get my GC,and I add her on to it, can she leave her employer and work for any company, although I will have to work for my employer for some time.

Does that mean that she will not require a H-1b work visa once I get GC.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

In my opinion:

Once you have your GC, your wife is a free agent.

Your wife will no longer need an H1, and neither will she be bound to your/her employer.

You, however will need to work with your current employer for a reasonable period.
