Hi,
I completed consular processing in India in Oct 2017 and I have my immigrant visa validity until Mar 31 2018. The initial GC processing was initiated through the current employer that I've been working for the last 10 years. We currently do not have open positions in US from my company. My questions:
1. Can I look to change employer while I am still in India? Find another US company that can offer me and travel on that company's offer letter?
2. If that's not allowed, can I still travel to US without a valid US employment? Once I land, I will look for a job.
