Hi,
My I-140 got approved Dec 17. I am going for CP in Dhaka. My attorney is not really happy about that. He thinks since I am from Bangladesh, it is a risk to go to Dhaka. I was never out of status. But I do not know why my attorney discourages me to go for cp. The only reason I chose cp because I thought I would get my GC sooner than AOS. Let me know if I am making a mistake by going for CP. My attorney said we do not file any paper until he gets the paper from state dept. I do not understand that. After I-140 approval, VSC sents my paper to state dept? How do I know where my file is. Where could I call to find out who has my file. Can I call Dhaka to find out how long it takes to get an interview?
