Hi everyone, is a one way ticket okey for a new immigrant coming in as we are not sure of when we would travel out again? What have you guys done after you/your relatives have gotten the immigrant visa? One way ticket or round ticket? Round ticket is way too expensive anyway. Thanks in advance 😊

Honestly there is no requirement for you to stay in the country after your initial entry (activating your Lawful Permanent Resident status/ LPR or GC).
You can have a return ticket the same day you enter.
No issues there. But of course, if you still want to maintain your GC, you have to follow the guidelines (being in the USA for more than 6 months in a year, or apply for Re-entry permit).
Feel free to travel out of the country as you please.
