Future hubby and I just filed I-129F (4 February 2017). We are expecting NOA1 soon and then NOA2 in about May/June.
Whats the process thereafter? As in how many packets will I receive and from who? And how long will it take to receive notice from the Johannesburg Consulate?
The post office in South Africa is hella slow so if you have first hand experience please be so kind and help me gauge?
My plan is to go to the US, live with my fianc? for about 2 or 3 months and then come back to South Africa for the medical exam, to gather all my documents and attend the interview, and then go back to him once the visa has been issued. How long will I need to be in South Africa to gather everything (almost everything in SA is slow) and attend the interview?
If you have any tips or advice, please do share! I'd love to make it as easy as possible.
