help with medical exam, shots etc

hi,
i dont have a record of the shots i was given earlier. i had read somewhere that we can get our blood test for immunity to certain diseases and take this report to the doctor in india. is that true??? if yes, where can i find the list of diseases for for which we need to test our immunity???
