New here need help with basic info

Hello im Timm, 19years old and from germany. I have a girlfriend living in the USA, but no relatives there. At the moment im doing an apprenticeship as a toolmaker and will soon be done with that, after that i have the goal to immigrate to the USA.

I am confused by the whole process of immigration, with all the forms and their names. I would like to know what kind of visa i can use and what would be the steps of achieving that.
