My wife and I got our immigrant visas approved last month with the petition by my mother-in-law.

However, I bought round trip tickets for both of us because it's even cheaper than one-way ticket.

Friends in US told me we might be rejected by officers at US airport and send us back, due to our immigrant status.

Could anyone confirm it necessary to cancel our round trip and buy one-way? The cancellation would cost almost the full price, that's why I'm asking.

Or should I go to https://www.uscis.gov/ and call their service hotline and ask?
