PCC info

Hi All,
What I understand from this discussion forum is, we have to collect PCC from indian consulate in USA as well as in india if you are going for CP in mumbai. I have following questions.
1) since my husband stayed in 4 different places in maharashtra do we have to collect PCC from all local police station?

2) Is there any specific format for this PCC?

3)If so, from where I will get this format?

PCC

I had lived in the US for a few years, so I only took a PCC from Chicago. (Did not get a PCC from India for myself)

For my wife, we only took PCC from Bangalore where her permanent address was (on the passport).

As far as the format, the Indian consulate and the Passport office seem to have their own format. For the local PCC my wife provided them a copy of the PCC from the Regional Passport Office.

Hope this helps, maybe you can email the Mumbai consulate, they do reply even if they take a couple of days to do so.
