Not received I-140 approval notice.

Hi,

My I-140 was approved at VSC EB2 category on 06/10/2002. My attorney has still not received the approval notice.

Anybody in similar situation?

Also, guys who have got their approval notice recently- how long did it take for you/your attorney to get the approval notice.

It too me 3 weeks to get the approval notice for I140 approved on 5/30/02.

The sent the case to NVC in 10 days.

My case was approved at the Vermont. EB2, and I have opted to consular process in Chennai.

Well, my case reached NVC and they sent me a letter informing me of AOS option which I had to return if I wanted to CP. I did so last week and am waiting for them to process that form and send me the Packet3. I will keep you all updated. They have assigned me a case# for Madras.

Looks like shruthibg and Jumpo, our I-140were approved within 10 days of each other. We should keep in touch an update eachother on our progress.

Congrats!! on the next milestone. Have you received your approval notice?

I just checked with the AVM. It says "We are unable to access your case info". Let's hope, by the end of next week it reaches them.

We tried calling NVC to speak to the operator. I guess the office was closed and operator is available only b/n 8 and 3:45. Will try on monday.

Was the AVM (@ NVC) updated with your receipt date?

We spoke to the operator and she told us that they have not received our case.

We have not received the approval notice either

Don't know what's happening.We can't call the INS as they say they speak only with the petitioner and our attorney is on vacation till the coming monday.

We have not received the approval notice and our case has not reached the NVC. Bad situation.
