new procedure for cp

Can any one give me some info about the new cp procedure? Do we send the packet 3 to consulate in India or to St Louis?

According to NVC and my lawyer, you will send this to st.louis and they will review this and if everything is correct than forward this to NVC. NVC will recheck and then forward this to consulate in india.

I was told by my lawyer, if the NVC has assigned a CP-Case Number before 12/31/2001 then you need to send the Packet-3 to Chennai or it should be send to STL. Can anyone confirm this.

I read in your site mentioned above (Packet 3) about betapost and the step of cp. My interview consulate will be in gulf. S0 do I not need to send the packet 3 back to NVC? Please clarify this to me

I was told that if your I-140 was approved before march 2001,
then the packet3 will be sent to consulate rather than NVC.

Thankyou for your reply. Can you please mention any site which has the details of this matter.Some of my friends whose I-140 was approved after Jan 2002 ,also did'nt have to send the Pkt3 back to NVC. They got interview directly from the consulate.
