IRS Transcripts - Help Needed

Hi Gopulu

Can you please describe the tax return transcript format the way you received from IRS.

Today I got one from IRS and it's a single letter with IRS Header Information at the top, my name and spouse name information along with ssn & tin numbers and address, with three coloumns tax years for the years 1999, 2000, 2001.

Gopulu is the above format you received and submitted in Chennai Consulate. Please post your comment on the above. Thanks

Just go to the local IRS office & ask for the tax papers for the past 3 years , they will issue a print out.

I did get the tax transcripts from austin IRS , they are about 3 pages for each year.

Gopulu should we submit the detailed tax papers or just the transcripts?

The tax transcripts should

be OK to submit.

Please follow the order in the Pakcet 4 and you should be fine.
