CP Gurus pls respond (H1 Expired & have CP int in Aug 20

Hey Folks,

My H1 B Visa has expired this April 2002 on my passport from my previous employer.

I have an approved H1 B Visa from my current employer (thru which i am going for the CP interview) till JAN 2003.Unfortunately i did not get this H1 B stamped on my passport.

Is it mandatory to have the H1 B stamped on the passport before the CP interview.

Now since i dont have time to get the H1 B stamped
Will it cause any problems if i dont have the H1 B stamped on my passport ?

This should NOT be a problem for your CP interview AT ALL!

I was in the same state of affairs (no valid stamp on passport) as u here when i appeared for my CP interview recently (june 18th 2002)

I can attest that this should not cause any problems. Make sure that you carry the latest (valid) H1 document with you. They even asked me for that specifically.
