Consular processing
I have following scenario and would appreciate if someone can help me understand or answer this.
I am planning to apply Green card for my sister who is unmarried and lives with my parent. She has currently 10 year visa [ Tourist B2/Visitor Visa]. Her VISA expires in 2027. I want to use Consular processing (meaning processing her Greencard in India).
Questions:
When GC is under processing, can she travel to US on her 10 year visa?
Does travel to US has any impact to GC processing (getting void etc)
Does she have problem at port of entry. Does she need to prepare for entry denial?
How long consular processing takes currently?
