Lead time of appointments

Hi,

Once your I-130 has been approved and an appointment time and date has been given , how far in advance is the appointment ?

I was just talking to the immigration medical centre that does the medical and they suggest having the medical done 2-3 weeks prior to the appointment , does the consulate that the interview is held give you that long to get to the appointment?

No not always

Our problem is they sent mail to Brazil and it takes forever.

By the time we found out only had one week. So it can be tricky depending on where you come from.
