CP & marriage combined ?

Hi,

I'd appreciate if someone could help me out with this:

I am planning to file packet 3 for myself and my fiance
at this point and plan to get married in december of this
year. Is there any problem with this approach ? I am planning
to combine my marriage trip with the CP interview and
am not sure if the packet 3 has any provision for filing
for a "fiance" ?

As an alternative, I will have to delay filing the packet3 until
I get married and get my spouse here on H4. I will lose a lot
of time in this approach.

Hope to get some valuable feedback from you all.

Not legal Advice:

When I did it I filed Packet 3 for myself only.

I got married and then filed Packet 3 forms for my wife and amended packet 3 forms for myself.

However that was under the old system where I always dealt with the consulate.

You should consult an attorney before trying it with the new system.
