Up to how late we can include wife's name in the application.

You can include a dependent any time before you enter the US on your visa.

I filed packet III in April 2001. In June 2001 I got married and sent the consulate an amended DS 230 Pt 1 with my wifes name on it along with a DS 230 Pt. 1 for her.

We had our interview at the beginning of Setptember and everything was fine. We got the Visas no problem.

Check with your lawyer about doing this with the new procedure but I'm sure you can do it. The procedures may have changed but the Law hasn't as far as I am aware.
