AOS filed at TSC, possible to change to CP?

Hi Gurus:

I have already filed my AOS with TSC (January 2002) but looking at current backlog at TSC, I wanted to find out if it is possible to change to CP at this stage. If so is it advisable.

At what stage you are with your I-140. If you have already got your receipt for the same, I doubt if you can do just like that without filing I-824 or 842 (I can't remember the number for sure).

As a matter of fact, I did change from AoS to CP. My lawyer helped me in doing it without filing I-824 or whatever since I changed my mind quickly.

In any case, why don't u check with lawyer.

I'm also in same boat.

I filed my 485 at NSC in Aplril 2002. I got 485 & EAD receipts.
My I-140 approved for CP, Chennai
NVC created case in May 2002. Now I'm thinking to change AOS to CP. Is it possible without filing 824?
