Hi, I'm an Indian currently in business in Tokyo. I'm consular processing in Tokyo. I just received my packet 3. It mentions that I'm "required to submit a police certificate from the police authorities of each locality of the country of the applicant's nationality".
What is the procedure for obtaining this Police Certificate?
Also, is it sufficient to get a police certificate only for my home address as shown in my passport? I had spent 4 years in a hostel in another city - so would I need a police certificate from that city as well?
