I-824 approved, How much time for NVC to create a case?

Hello all
My 824 has been approved on March 14 and the automated message said appropriate American consulate or port of entry has been notified.
What is the next procedure now? How long for the NVC to create a case and send me the packet 3? Can I contact NVC to find out?

A is usually created at NVC within two weeks after they receive the case from the INS, depending on which Service Center you're case is at it can take anywhere from a couple of days to one month for the case to reach NVC, I would guess (based on other d-boards and *********) that it takes on average 8-10 days from INS to NVC. However, as NVC takes on more responsibilities their backlog is begginning to grow...By the way which consulate did you indicate in your I824? Or did you stipulate National Visa Center? Which is your Service Center
