I am expecting my I-140 to get approved in next 3 months or so and I am planning to get married in about 2 months. Since I have to go to India again for CP Interview, I am wondering whether I can leave my wife in India after marriage and bring her here when I go for CP. If she is on H-4 by the time I apply for Packet 3 is enough or should she have been in U.S as my dependent prior to going for C.P.

She can stay in India and attend consular interview with you. Be prepared to prove that marriage is genuine.
