URGENT!!! Need help from anyone who has the info!CP(chennai)

Hi all,

My husband got interview date at Chennai for April last week.
The thing is i have applied for green card as his dependent and i am also suppossed to go along with him for the interview on the same date.

BUT..... I delivered a boy on Feb 21st and he will be only 7 weeks only if i have to travel to india....The pediatrician said it is ok to travel but to avoid if we can!!

So, can i ask for another date even though i am dependent..??? should we stick to the date given and go together??If i can apply seperately, how much time would it roughly take? And waht forms need to be filled?

Did anyone of you face this situation? Appreciate an early reply in this matter!!!!!!!

From what I understand you can change the date but the consulate may change it for both of you causing a delay of a possibly couple of months.

If it is possible you should keep your interview date.

I know it will be difficult for you and your baby. See if you can make it to the interview.
You can postpone the interview but it is better if you get it out of ur way.

IS the courier part compulsory? or can we collect in person?

Thanks for all those who responded to my question.
We are booking our tickets to India and would liek to know if the courier part metnioend in some postings is compulsory or can we go in the evening and collect the packet(cover) personally the same day???
