Folks,
Transfer of case from Mumbai to Chennai consulate is taking a whole lot longer than I had expected.
Reason given by Mumbai consulate:
We have till date, not received the hard copy of your Employment based petition from the National Visa Center due to the pouch problems. All petitions which were mailed by NVC on 15 and 22October 2001 have not been
received by us, the entire pouch is missing. Although, we have electronically transferred your file to the Chennai consulate on 05march2002.
Contacted Chennai and they are telling me they don't have the case with them. What happens to the CP process now? Can I do AC-140 in Chennai? If not, what is the recourse go to AOS?
