ANYONE WHO CAN HELP PLS;
I am from the philippines.my wife worked in Saudi Arabia for two years and went home after contract expired. I am now filed for an Immigrant visa and currently waiting for our DS230 forms. My problem now is, one of the supplements for the DS230 is a police clearance from Saudi. Some say that my wife should go to Saudi and secure the clearance but we read in the US embassy website that " Police clearances are not available for third country nationals who do not reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia". What should we do? Can this clearance delay the processing of our papers? I am worrying about the upcoming RETROGRESSION this september and we are running out of time. So pls help me!!!!! thanks and God Bless!

I think if your wife already have police clearance from passport office and district police office from Philippine no need to worry,
Police clearance from country of previous residence , if only available. More information better talk to immigration attorney or your US consulate.

Saudi Police Clearance

I had the same inquiry, My fiance started to process a K1 Visa petition for me and along the way we found out that one of the requirements to obtain a US Visa is to provide them a Police Clearance Certificates where you lived over six months. In my case, I worked before in Saudi Arabia for 2 years since September 2007 until September 2009. I am already here in Philippines right now and waiting for the application papers filed by my Fiance. Now, my question is Should I need to procure a Saudi Police Clearance even though I am already here in Philippines? If yes, How can I acquire it? What I will gonna do? Saudi Arabia Police Clearance

Your wife does not need to get the police certificate if she now resides out of Saudi Arabia. This is per the Saudi arabian authorities. I learnt this for my CP processing.

Ksa police clearance

I am also processing my visa petition. I worked in KSA for 11 years. I'm now out of the kingdom. I wrote to the U.S. Embassy in KSA inquiring how to get police clearance. I was told, no need if you are no longer working in ksa.

My other question is, do I still need to get a police clearance in my locality (town/city) in the Philippines, even if I already have an NBI?

The thing is, I'm in Dubai. If required, how do I get a local police clearance without going home.
