Mumbai Consulate phone numbers and Email

My packet 3 reached Mumbai Consulate on Feb 18. I would like to know the phone number (and email address) where I can call (including the best time to call) to ensure that they have received the packet and if possible, know the interview date.
Does anybody have this information ?

Brother, I tried calling on the number on that web site and no one answers..Is there any other number..Is there any specific time that will have to call them at and what about the email address ?

They usually respond back within 7-10 days with a single line email...
Don't forget to mention ur case number in the email. Since you sent the packet 3 on feb 18 ( I assume..u are not going thru NVC..like most others here...lucky u !!)...give it something like 2 weeks
and then send them an email asking about the possible interview date ( which usually is..and in my case was..60-70 days after they received your packet 3).
Check on this appointments page frequently ( in march ...for a possible april end-may beginning interview date..my guess)

I would say..don't bother to call them up..they are prompt with email replies.
but, still,
the visa info unit's number is here : 363-7407/08 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Take my advice..send an email..and stay put..they DO respond back...save urself a buck or 2 ;o)

No problem..

St Louis...to New hampshire ( 20-25 days) ...they encash the cheque..i think. After that, NH takes 5-8 weeks for review..and hopefully if nothing is wrong..u should bescheduled after almost 2 months after review.
