Hi All,
I am happy to tell that me and my husband had a successful CP interview in Chennai on Jan 30, 2002. My case was a little complicated because we got married on Jan 15, 2002. I had submitted my husband's DS 230 forms along with my packet 3 and had again sent it after the marriage. Even though the appointment letter showed only my name on it, both pf us entered the consulate and submitted all the necessary documents for both of us.
We were asked to wait for about an hour but eventually both of were asked to pay the issuance fee and received our visas the next day.
I entered through SFO and did not have any problems at the port of entry.
